 Dorothy Jean Hellar Crandall
Dorothy (Dee) Crandall is a true inspiration and has influenced and changed many lives of those around her. She has shown that any person can achieve their dreams and that there is no limit to what one can do. Her accomplishments include concert pianist, airline pilot, Ph.D., teacher and a missionary of God.

Dee was born and raised in Wichita. She married Clair Crandall in 1949 and is the proud mother of five children and grandmother of 13. She makes a special day for each grandchild's birthday by taking him or her to the restaurant of their choice and by taking them shopping for a birthday gift. These special occasions are cherished by all.

Those who know Dee admire her ability to put other people first and her genuine interest in helping others. She has taken many people into her home and made them feel a part of her family. She is a teacher at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and is involved with genealogy work for the Temple. She is highly respected for her friendship and leadership qualities.
