My heroines are three generations of Snyder women: my mother, Florence R. Snyder; her daughters-in-law, Jeanne King Snyder and Kay Collins Snyder; and her grandchildren, Janet Snyder, Mary Snyder Shall, Ann Snyder Rishell, and Susan Snyder. The love and support of these seven women have filled my life with pride, pleasure and joy. - Mel Snyder

Susan was born in Wichita on September 1, 1964. Susan is affectionate, studious and hardworking. She and her husband, Mike Gebert, are motion picture aficionados. Susan's education included KMC High School (National Honor Society); B.A., Magna Cum Laude, Wichita State University, majors in International Studies and French (member of many honor societies, including Mortar Board); and J.D. degree from Northwestern University School of Law, Chicago, IL.

Since graduation, Susan was admitted to the Illinois Bar and has practiced law in Chicago for eight years. She is now a partner in the law firm of Sachnoff and Weaver, Ltd. Where she specializes in estate planning and probate law. She is a member of the Chicago Estate Planning Council, the Chicago Bar Association and the American Bar Association.

Susan, Ann, Mary and Janet, with their two brothers, John and Rob, have been a continuing blessing to their parents, Kay and Mel Snyder. All four were Girl Scouts and loving daughters; they have traveled extensively in Europe and in this country, but each is a unique individual. Best of all, they like each other.
