Edith DeEtte Huffman

Edith DeEtte Huffman was born on December 24, 1922 in Jamestown, New York, Chataugua County. Her father was Alan William Firth and her mother Lillian Ethel Middleton. DeEtte graduated from Fayetteville, N.Y. High School. She received her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Kansas and her Masters in Educational Psychology from Wichita State University. She was the Chief of Occupational Therapy at the Capper Foundation for Crippled Children in Topeka, Ks. and the Director of Occupational Therapy at Wesley Medical Center . She was an O.T consultant for Nursing Homes and finished up her career as Chief O.T at the Veteran's Hospital in Wichita.
