Christy E. Spears

Christy Elizabeth Spears was the beloved daughter of Dr. Chester and Sydney Spears. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri, on June 3, 1978. Christy accepted God at an early age and was always interested in the natural order of life.
She graduated from Kapaun Mount Carmel High School in 1996. Christy attended Washburn University in Topeka and Butler County Community College in El Dorado.

She devoted many hours to hospital and nursing home volunteer work. Christy was also passionately interested and involved with serving the most vulnerable of the elderly population.

On Tuesday, January 12, 1999, Christy was called to the Lord.

Sometimes it's hard to understand why certain things must be, and the reasons why they happen are often hard to see.
Still you may find some comfort in the thought that God is there, to keep the one you loved so much
forever in his care.

We all loved you,
but God gave you wings to fly all the way home
to freedom, Christy.
