Nancy Monnat Greever

Nancy Monnat Greever(a.k.a. "the queen") showed true royalty in her battle with cancer.
Nancy was the great grandchild of an early Wichita pioneer, David D. Leahy, a former editor of the Wichita Eagle.
Nancy was a graduate of Mt. Carmel High School. After graduating from the William Allen White School of Journalism at the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism, she received a Bachelor of Arts in Professional Photography from Brooks Institute, School of Photographic Art and Science in Santa Barbara, California. She received her Master of Arts in Communication from the Wichita State University.
Nancy worked as the Director of Public Relations at the Kansas University Medical Center, Wichita, for 15+ years before becoming Administrator for Wichita State University Link Line.
After a valiant struggle with cancer, Nancy died March 3, 2003, at the age of fifty.
