Joyce Inez Miller Rhodes

is honored with a Large Paver from Nancy G. Kemmerer.

Born in Derby, KS on April 8, 1912. Her mother passed away when Inez was 11 months old. She was raised by her grandparents Pruah and Sippie Miller. She attended grade school and high school in Derby. Inez had to quit school during her last year because of the stock market crash of 1929. She was later able to attend American Business College. Her mother had also attended American Business College.

Inez married Hirman B. Rhodes on December 31, 1930. They had four children: Doug born March 1932 (died in1934); Carol born in1933; Ann born in 1945; and Mike born in 1949. Her occupations included homemaker and co-business owner with her father and office manager of Continental Telephone Comapny in Branson, MO. She retired in 1977.
