Jane Glotfelty Rhoads

Jane Glotfelty Rhoads is a consummate researcher, writer and teacher. Ms. Rhoads is beginning phased retirement in the spring of 2013 after more than forty years as a reading and study skills instructor at Wichita State University. She has degrees in history and theatre. In Ms. Rhoads early career she was published numerous times with craft and academic articles, served as an officer in the International Listening Association and was coordinator of the Reading and Study Skills Center. More recently, Ms. Rhoads' book, Kansas Opera Houses, Actors and Community Events received the 2009 Kansas Notable Book award. Jane Glotefelty Rhoads is married to John, has two children, Jennifer and Jamison, three grandchildren, Emma, Jared and Wyatt, and has dedicated her life to helping Wichita State University students succeed.
