Toni L. Neff
is honored with a Brick from Wichita State University College of Health Professionals
Toni began her career at WSU Alumni Association in August 1985 as the manager of alumni records. January 1986 provided her the opportunity to work for the College of Health Professions coordinating CEU programing for the College’s Center for Continuing Health Care Education. Budget cuts in 1988 forced the College to close their continuing education division. Marty Shawver offered Toni the opportunity to work with in the newly developed College of Health Professions centralized advising office. Over her twenty-five years in CHP Student Advising Services, Toni developed the College’s advising model, recruiting materials and programming, new student orientation programing and assisting in the design of student study areas in Ahlberg Hall. Toni’s favorite part of her job was working with students, helping them to navigate the University processes and develop plans to reach their academic goals. After 28 years of service to WSU students, Toni retired in 2013 to travel and spend time with her family.
