Patty Clark

Patty Clark serves as the Community Relations Manager at the Kansas Leadership Center. Throughout her life, she has devoted her career to public sector and organizational work to help enhance the quality of life and economic conditions in rural Kansas. She passionately believes that the vitality and diversity of rural Kansas strengthens the fabric of our state.
Patty has had a long and successful career. She helped start the Kansas Leadership Center in 2007 as Director of Operations. After years with KLC, she transitioned to Kansas State Director for Rural Development at the USDA, following an appointment from the Obama administration. Previously in career, Patty worked with the Kansas Department of Commerce on the agency's rural programs, and she also served as the Director of the Public Policy Division at the Kansas Farm Bureau. She holds a bachelor's degree in agriculture from Kansas State University and is the founding member of the Kansas Ag and Rural Leadership Program. Patty was honored as an Outstanding Young Alumnus by Kansas State University. Personally, Patty loves to cook, garden, read, and walk, and she treasures time with family, especially her grandchildren.
