In honor of my exceptional wife, Elizabeth King: Your life was shaped by adventure from the earliest of ages, living around the world as you did. Somehow resilience and energy followed wherever you went, helping you overcome odds on many occasions. You perfectly define the role of the professional woman, and I am most proud of your being the Vice-President for University Advancement at Wichita State University since 1991.

Your sons, Lance and Brandon, as well as I, adore your hospitable spirit, gift of entertaining, loyalty to friends, and the love that encircles our home. Your sense of humor and spontaneity help keep our family life from becoming too serious.

More importantly, your character and your love for God and things Eternal are certain to leave their impression for years to come.
