Harriett (Betty) Hedrick proves a point I've tried to make for years. It's important in life to have friends of all ages. I've learned a great deal from my dear friend who is three decades older than I am. With her wit and tremendous sense of humor she's an inspiration to me and my friends I've introduced to Betty.

She's never too busy to listen to a problem or to laugh at a funny story. Her charm and graciousness have no limits and her sense of style and artistic ability is admired by many.

There are people who become a friend quickly and easily and years later you realize you're truly blessed with a very special relationship. During the past decade Betty Hedrick has become an important person in my life, a friend who advises me, encourages me, and brings me joy.

I'm thankful I know this talented woman and feel fortunate to call her my friend.
