BECAUSE I LOVE YOU

Ever since your childhood, I've found in you the warmth and generosity I always hoped I would possess myself.

Somehow you always have time to do those caring things other people only wish they had done, and you're always there to encourage others when they need it most.

You have been there to laugh with me, to be proud of me and to be happy for all the good things in my life.

And maybe most importantly, you've shared my disappointments and listened as I worked out my thoughts and feeling in times of hardship.

Sometimes it was hard for us to be friends because in some ways we see life from opposite angles and directions but I still heard what you were saying and listened with respect. That's why thoughts of love bring thoughts of you to mind.

So, Barbara, my very special daughter, I want to thank-you now and tell you that I pray that everything will always be right with your world, too -- because I love you.
