Jill S. Docking

Jill Docking is an investment broker with AG Edwards and Sons, Inc., in Wichita and is currently their Vice President - Investments.

Jill was raised in Massachusetts. She married Tom Docking, the son of the Governor of Kansas in 1977, they have two children, Brian and Margorie. It is our good fortune she became a Kansan.

After being active in politics and being in the middle of her husband's unsuccessful run for Governor, Jill Docking, with the support of her family, her many friends and acquaintances decided to run for Senator. It was our loss that she was defeated by 11% of the votes (an outstanding accomplishment for a first time candidate). The question: Will Jill Docking run again for political office?

Jill is always ready to do the job; whatever needs to be done, she does with foresight, enthusiasm, diplomacy and fairness.

Cindy is a Kansas native. She showers her enthusiasm not only on her work and music, but shares it with her family, husband, John, and son, Clarke. Cindy grew up in the Real Estate Business, mentoring with her father in the Real Estate business. In 1988 she joined the Weigand Residential sales force.

A creative woman with a beautiful voice, she established the choral group, Spirit, which entertains during the Christmas holidays.

CAREER
Real Estate: She has been a successful Real Estate Broker Associate, working for 13 years with Ed Clarke Company Realtors; since 1987 with JP Weigand & Sons, Inc.

MUSIC
Founding member of a cappella choral group, Spirit.
Executive Producer of releases by Spirit.
Develops CDs to be used by non-profit organizations, such as the Leukemia Society, for fund-raising. Spirit CDs include For the Children: Volume I, For the Children: Volume II, It's Always been About Love, The Very Best Time of the Year, American Spirit.
Spirit performed For The Children in concert at the White House.

Mary grew up in the mining town of Jerome, Arizona. In 1987 she moved to Wichita, Kansas. During her time here she lost her 23 year old son to a senseless murder. Upon her leaving Wichita, she helped establish, through the Greater Wichita Community Foundation, an enrichment scholarship program to help "at risk" children in middle school. The Brian David Higby Fund is permanently endowed and the scholarships are awarded each May.

Although Mary has moved from Wichita to Santa Fe, she has left a lasting imprint on the community and the hearts and minds of Wichitans through her media presence and community service.

She is the radio talk show host of Live Line America on Radio America Network.
