Marie L. Liebst

is honored with a Brick from Michelle Liebst.

Marie L. Liebst is the mother of six sons and one daughter, and grandmother of thirteen from a marriage of 48 years. In addition to raising a respectable, successful family (several engineers, a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering and Program Director for Wichita City Parks), she has donated countless hours to Wichita organizations such as Venture House, United Methodist Urban Ministries, and her church. She has also done patterning of disabled, and was well-liked by students when she helped out at Wichita South High.

Her life has been dedicated to selfless labors for family and community. My life is enriched by her, and the good she has taught her children, grandchildren, and their friends will remain with them always. The world is a better place with her in it.
