Beverly Carney
is honored with a Medium Paver from Monica Flynn, Mary Lee Gebhart, Judy Higdon, and June McGrath.
This computerized history is a wonderful way to remember and honor our cherished friend, Beverly Carney.
Beverly was born in Wichita on June 26,1933. She was born into eternity on January 22, 1998. She was a "middle child" in a family of five daughters. Her parents were Tom and Helen Singleton.
Beverly attended Wichita public schools, graduating from East High School in 1951. At Wichita University, she was a member of Pi Kappa Psi sorority. And it was at WU she met her future husband Dan Carney.
They made their home in Wichita, raising six children. She was an avid gardener, a gifted decorator and an animated storyteller. She also loved tennis and golf.
Beverly will be remembered as a friend who was devoted to her family. She spent endless hours making sure every holiday and family event was a festive occasion.
She had many friends who were near and dear. She was always willing to make time and listen. Her charity work was quietly done, no awards allowed, no spotlight accepted.
One always felt special in her presence. Beverly, we will miss you always.
