Patricia Daniel

is honored with a Brick from John S. Daniel.

For over 30 years she has been my best friend, companion, comforter, lover and spouse. The first 20 she spent as an "at home Mom" running her own mail order and retail businesses. She was at home to care for our son; it was the way to supplement the family income that let her be there for him.

In the last 10 years she has returned to college to complete the higher education that she gave up for our family. She earned her BS in Geology from Wichita State University in 1992 and her MS in Geology from the University of Kansas in 1998.

She is now an accomplished geologist, college instructor, published poet, author of several published scientific papers, and a published author of Kansas Geological History. She has accomplished and completed more in the last 10 years than many will accomplish in their lives.

She has willingly encouraged and supported me in all our many moves and relocations without regard for the turmoil and pain it caused in her world of friends and work. She is a Heroine in every sense of the word. I am proud of her and proud to be her friend and husband.
