Arleen Banowetz
is honored with a Brick from the Center for Entrepreneurship.
With appreciation, the Center for Entrepreneurship recognizes the dedication and service of Arleen Banowetz. Arleen began working at the Center in 1983 as a graduate assistant and was actively involved in the formation of the Association of Collegiate Entrepreneurs (ACE). She continued to be involved with this international organization until it relocated in 1992. Always an enthusiastic advocate of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship education, she was instrumental in establishing an entrepreneurship major, was the champion of an entrepreneurship camp and conference for high school students, and helped establish the Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) chapter at WSU. Her enthusiasm for entrepreneurship was evident to the many WSU students she counseled.
